Links you submit

Your browser sends the Instagram media link to our resolver. The application checks its domain and format, removes sharing query parameters and forwards the normalized public link to Kk Creation’s parsing service through RapidAPI. That provider receives the link and processes it under its own practices. Do not submit private links, passwords, login cookies or other secrets.

SaveIGStory does not have a visitor account system and does not ask you to connect an Instagram account. That does not mean your use is anonymous to every service involved.

Media previews and saved files

The provider returns media URLs. Your browser contacts the source CDN to show previews and fetch files, so that service can receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser headers. Multiple files are normally packaged into a ZIP in your browser. A server ZIP fallback may fetch and process media temporarily in memory.

The current application does not persist downloaded media or maintain a saved-media library. This statement concerns our application; we cannot make the same promise about a provider’s or hosting service’s logs or retention. A returned media URL can expire independently of the original Instagram post.

Hosting and request information

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare and our parsing provider can process network and request information needed to deliver their services. The resolver does not intentionally write submitted links or downloaded files to an application database. Infrastructure logs and third-party retention are separate from that application behavior.

Website analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session recordings to understand clicks and scrolling on public pages. Our integration masks forms, input fields and media, and does not load when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. It requests denied analytics and advertising storage by default; usage data can still be sent to Microsoft without analytics storage. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We do not describe masked analytics as “no data collection.” Enabling a browser privacy signal prevents this integration from starting. Browser protections and third-party behavior can affect how requests are handled.

Use our contact page for privacy or content concerns. Describe the page and issue without sending passwords, session cookies or private content. This notice describes the current service behavior; it does not promise that external providers have no logs.
